We respectfully acknowledge that Raven Haven is situated on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the səlilwətaɬ – Tsleil-Waututh Nation. We recognize that we live, work, and play on lands inhabited by the Tsleil-Waututh people since time immemorial. We honour their enduring connection to this land, its waters, and its resources, and express our gratitude for their stewardship.
At Raven Haven Pop-Up Café, our mission is to Create, Brew, and Thrive by offering soulful, customizable café experiences that bring people together. Whether it’s a community gathering, festival, or private celebration, we craft delicious moments and intentional spaces that reflect the heart of each event. Rooted in creativity, connection, and care, we serve not only great coffee and treats—but also warmth, beauty, and a touch of magic.
Vision
We envision Raven Haven as a mobile café and creative hub that nurtures connection across the North Shore and beyond. By blending quality offerings with personalized service and custom design, we aim to make every pop-up a meaningful experience. We believe that through small, heartfelt gestures—like a perfect cup of coffee, a thoughtfully curated menu, or a shared laugh—we can build bridges across neighbourhoods, uplift our community, and support the next generation of dreamers and doers.
The Love Story
The Family Behind Raven Haven Emporium Café
Hello! We are the family behind Raven Hoods Emporium Café
Jamil, Sabrina, Kamilah, Alanah and Betty
We’re Jamil, Sabrina, Kamilah, Alanah, and our sweet fur baby, Betty—and Raven Haven Pop-Up Café is our family passion project! It all started with long walks through our Raven Woods neighbourhood with Betty, where we’d often stop to chat with neighbours. Again and again, we heard the same thing: “We live in such a beautiful area—why isn’t there anywhere to grab a coffee or a little something on the go?”
Eventually, we decided to do something about it. Out of that shared longing, our Pop-Up Café was born. From humble beginnings (and now legendary Chocolate Zucchini Loaf!) to vibrant community events like Blueridge Good Neighbour Day and the Whey-ah-Wichen Canoe Festival at Cates Park, we’ve poured our hearts into every cup and every connection.
With Jamil’s expertise in photography, film, and printing—and Sabrina’s deep roots in wellness, beauty, and intentional living—we’ve brought our complementary skills into this creative venture. More than a business, Raven Haven is a way for our daughters to gain real-world experience, for us to give back to the community we love, and for our family to Create, Brew, and Thrive—together.
As part of The North Shore Edge, we’re proud to serve events big and small across the North Shore and beyond. From full café setups to branded menus and custom décor, we bring the goods to you—and we do it with love.
