The Creepy Corridor

Beware of the witch lurking within, casting spells as you navigate the candlelit twisting path, dolls cry at her cackles echoing through the dark.

Spider Alley Pathway

Follow the cobblestone path, but tread lightly. The animatronic spiders seem almost too real, and the eerie atmosphere of Skull Tower might just send shivers down your spine.

Corpse Bride Backyard Reception

Fireside warmth contrasts with the chilling presence of Emily and Victor’s altar. Enjoy finger foods served fireside, roast some s'mores, and snap a photo—if you dare—before joining the skeleton hot tub party!

Betelgeuse Garage Café

A Betelgeuse-themed pop-up experience serving hot & cold drinks, baked treats, and fresh popcorn. Sip on organic espresso or grab a unique soda, indulge in snacks and sit down at our Corpse Bride Backyard Reception to enjoy them fireside with a s’more. Once you enter, the vast array of temptations may hold you captive. The Betelgeuse Garage Cafe blurs the line between comfort and curiosity, making leaving the hardest part.

The Creepy Corridor​

Venture through the skull archway, past floating candles, and be greeted by a towering 12ft tree monster, eerie characters, and lifelike animatronics. Beware of the witch lurking within, casting spells as you navigate the candlelit twisting path. The shadows seem alive, whispering your name, while eerie dolls cry out in response to the witch’s cackles that echo through the dark. This corridor is filled with an unsettling mix of playful yet haunting tricks designed to keep you on edge. As you make your way through, the eerie atmosphere pulls you towards the next attraction.

Spider Alley Pathway​

Follow the cobblestone path, but tread lightly, for Spider Alley has its share of surprises, including animatronics and a 10ft Skull Tower at the end of the path. The pathway is manageable for even younger adventurers. Keep an eye out for the jumping spider—it loves to catch visitors off guard, but it’s all in good fun! Mysterious remnants of past explorers are scattered along the path, adding just enough thrill to keep you on your toes. Watch out for wild animals—after all, we are in Raven Woods! Don’t be surprised if you spot a bear or a few deer along the way. The journey ends at the Backyard Cafe entrance, a rewarding destination filled with warmth and treats, like a prize for making it through the adventure.

 

Corpse Bride Backyard Reception

A backyard filled with fun & décor including a flower wall, Emily & Victor's altar, finger foods and treats and roast up some s'mores by the fire pits. All while chilling with the skeleton party.

Fireside warmth contrasts with the eerie presence of Emily and Victor’s altar. Will Victor show up at the altar, or will Emily be left alone forever? This intimate sit-down experience features enchanting wedding and reception scenes, with partially covered areas, three firepits, and finger foods and warm drinks. Gather around the fire to enjoy s’mores, swap ghost stories, and capture eerie photo opportunities—from Emily’s flower-adorned altar to the skeleton reception party and hot tub where the dearly departed unwind. The glowing outdoor setting adds a magical, otherworldly feel to the night—blurring the line between the living and the lost. Reservations are recommended. Come and join, if you dare, for a reception unlike any other.

What are the event dates and hours?

The Haunted House runs from October 21 to November 2, open daily from 4 PM to 10 PM (rain or shine).

Where is the Haunted House located?

The event takes place at #45 - 3639 Aldercrest Drive, North Vancouver, in the Raven Woods Community.

Do I need to make a reservation?

Reservations are recommended, especially for the Corpse Bride Backyard Reception, For safety and enjoyment, we also limit the number of people at any given time throughout the event.

Is there a fee to enter the Haunted House?

Donations are welcome! Contributions help us support future community events!

Is the event suitable for kids?

Yes! The attractions are designed to be spooky but family-friendly. Spider Alley Pathway and Creepy Corridor have manageable levels of spookiness for younger adventurers. We ask that all minors under 18 be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Who is this event not suitable for?

The event is not suitable for those who are sensitive to animatronics, flashing lights, or who may have mobility issues navigating cobblestone paths and uneven terrain. Should you have accessibility needs, please reach out to us and we will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee.

What can I expect at the Corpse Bride Backyard Reception?

The reception features enchanting wedding and reception scenes, complete with fire pits, finger foods, drinks, and eerie photo opportunities. It’s a fun, sit-down experience for up to 16 guests.

Will there be scary characters or jump scares?

You will encounter a variety of animatronics and eerie characters like witches and spiders, but there are no jump scares or live actors. Everything is designed to be playful rather than overwhelming—it's all in good Halloween fun!

What if it rains?

The event goes on rain or shine! We offer partially covered areas at the Corpse Bride Reception. Please make sure to dress for the elements.

Are there food and drink options available?

Absolutely! The Betelgeuse Garage Cafe serves hot and cold drinks, baked treats, hot eats, fresh popcorn, and more. You can enjoy these at the Corpse Bride Backyard Reception or take them to go. Please note that no food or drink is allowed in the Creepy Corridor or Spider Alley Pathway for safety reasons.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Outside food and drinks are not allowed. We have a variety of snacks, treats, and beverages available at the Betelgeuse Garage Cafe.

Is there parking available?

Limited street parking is available. We encourage visitors to walk to this community event

Sorry, there are no public restrooms on site.

Are pets allowed at the Haunted House?

Due to the animatronics and crowds, we ask that pets stay at home to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort.

What safety measures are in place?

We ensure safe pathways, firepit supervision, and crowd control to make the experience enjoyable for everyone. Minors under 18 should be accompanied by an adult at all times. We hold valid food handling certificates and standard first aid.

Do I have to sign a waiver?

Yes, all guests must read and sign a waiver before entering the Creepy Corridor, Spider Alley Pathway, and Corpse Bride Reception.

How long can I expect to spend at the Raven Hoods Haunted House?

Guests can expect to spend on average 30-45 minutes in the entire experience.

What should I wear?

Feel free to come in costume! It’s a great way to add to the fun atmosphere. Just make sure your costume is safe for walking through cobblestone paths and suited for the elements and dark areas.

Will there be Halloween night specials?

Yes! On Halloween night, free popcorn will be available for as a special treat.
